You know you are in Texas when you can get a pecan pie from a vending machine any time! Stopped late on 5/11 and got some of their chocolate pecan clusters from the machine in front of the store. Easy and set up for credit cards. When the store is open there are plenty of treats and gifts for a Texas souvenir. We also order and mail pecan pies at Christmas time. Delicious! If you LOVE pecans as much as I do, this place is definitely a stop to make on your way into Austin from Houston. The quality of their nuts is topnotch and the pecan pies are "to die for!" They also have a huge selection of preserves and souvenirs/gifts. I love this place! If you happen to be driving by when they're closed, they have conveniently placed a pecan bag vending machine on their front porch.
